Boy this is fun/a survey-please take!!!

(Attn: Mom is pulling from the archives. hmm-wonder why? BOL)

I suppose I could pull pics we haven't used yet and pretend I found the camera. Not so much.

My San Antonio pics are in there and that was the first time I had been back in 10 years. ARRGGH. I like what Dewy Dewster said. "Minds are a wonderful thing. When they are working"-something to that effect. (It is in last comment section)

Sooooooo-I have a ton of stuff to do. I am still behind commenting. (You never catch up in blogworld, do you?)

I do not like my camera anyway. (But I do want my SA pics dadgumit.)

I had asked those wild heelers what kind of camera they have, and now I'd like to ask y'all. Please tell me. Some of y'all have the greatest pics. Mine has alot of lag time and not much zoom. And that zoom would have given me some fantabulous pics in SA.

So, consider this a survey. What kind of camera do you have? Do any of y'all have one with good zoom and no lag time. (I love photography anyhow)

Sunny and Scooter have washed their hands of this. "you had it, not us,you find it-long as the food and snacks are covered, we are good" Thanx guys. I think Santa starts watching more closely SOON!
Go-comment-tell me. PLEASE!!!!!
Hugs
Jamie(still wandering,looking)

My Mom has a Nikon D40 DSLR. It's probably a bit more than what you're looking for. Check out some of the Nikon Coolpix though. See if you can't find a good camera store in your area. We have a place called Henry's (www.henrys.com). They know the answers to everything. Good luck finding things! We're cheering you on!

My Mom uses a Nikon-something-or-other. (If you need the rest of the name, she can look. it's Di-something) The reason she bought it is because we go rock crwling with Jeeps and stuff and with her old camera she was missing way to much cool stuff so she found this camera that has a cool feature that keeps taking pictures while yu hold the button down instead of having to push the button every time. It works great and she doesn't miss as much. It works with us, too. She catches some funny stuff when she remembers to turn the feature on.

We won't tell you our camera since it takes good pics but has a serious lag time.

Kodak C763 EasyShare -

She loves it - for <$100.00 with shipping on ebay -

Several of Mom's doggie pals have similar khameras -

She already had an older Olympus Digital BUT really wanted something EASier and with video - now, if I do something KHUTE, she just shoots and plugs it into the laptop and VOILA!

BUT woo have done the khorrekht thing: ask all the experts out there! They've given you some great advice!

Like Mom said she loves her Cannon XTi with her zoom lens.. You can set it to automatic so it does all the focusing for you even with the long lens.. Mom enjoys the focus herself and setting the different f-stops.. Glad you like our pictures..
Mom wants to adopt a lot of horses so you are all welcome to come and ride.. Her rescue farm keeps getting larger and larger with all the animals she wants to save. She thinks it would be the perfect thing when she retires..

You don't want our camera .... we don't have the best pictures anyway and we're also looking for a better one.

...by the way, you can send in your entry for Autobiography Week any time you want! We set a date just to keep things organized but if your Mama needs more time, the site will stay up for all of eternity and we'll be happy to post your entry whenever it's convenient... no worries!!

We have a Panasonic TZ1 and a Nikon D60. Both take great photos but it depends on what you're using it for, how much you want to spend, how big (or small) you want the camera to be, all that stuff. Mum says you can email us (hufflemawson@gmail.com) if you want to talk further about it.

Oh, yer lookin' fer input....input is a great tool ta use ta find out information....good work again guys...

Gram uses a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2.....there is lag time between pictures but there are lots of settings and a 6X optical zoom lens....it's a few years old so there are newer smaller Lumix models that have pretty much the same features but better....it will take video clips too but fer good video we use a Sony Handycam cause ya can't use the zoom fer the video....or flash either

Hope ya find the perfect camera...check out Amazon.com and read the comsumer ratings on the different products ta see if the people who bought 'em liked 'em or not.

Okay.... I wish that I had something fancy.... but alas, we have a KODAK Easyshare DX4530. I don't know if they even make that one anymore, but I hear the upgrades are good for what we do here ..... It is easy, which is a "MUST" for my hooman mommy. You see, she was born in an OLDEN TIME before 'puters in schools, etc. Needs a seeing eye dog to read the directions because she can NEVER find her bifocals, and the VCR was always a mystery. She is much happier with the DVD stuff!!!! I think you get the picture.... my hooman mommy needs electrical help 24/7. Good luck with the camera hunt!

My wife's Canon SD600 point-and-shoot takes pretty good video and pictures and doesn't have much lag time.

We have a Digital Tekxon F320 12megapixel camera that my wife got on the cheap from Ebay, only $60 brand new which takes pretty good photos. Although I mostly use my Motorola RAZR V3XX 4megapixel phone camera as it's always with me & I find it much easier to use & less technically challenging than the Tekxon.

I can't be of any help here. The Girl doesn't even HAVE a digital camera... she either uses our Roomie's camera, or Nanny and Papa's. And she doesn't even know what kind they are. But we're glad you asked this question, because The Girl wants to get one when she can, and we'll just use your comments! Wroooooo!
