Culprit revealed

I appreciate all your support in those comments. Sunny is the good one. Hurry Cane Ike, Squirrels, intruders., one alluded to Scooter "could it be the loving, licking one?" well, Dannon said Scooter was too small. Dannon's girl said I was too good(thank you Dannon's girl!) There are no actual pictures of that destuction. However, there is an eyewitness. That eyewitness took some photos yesterday. These are wooden blinds. Since the weather has gotten nicer, mom likes to open the windows , fresh air and cheaper air!!!!
Look, it's real simple. I gotta know what is going on outside! There could be intruders that would hurt Mom. There could also be cats & squirrels....
Mom says I better not ever go through one of those screens.
She didn't exactly SAY what would happen, but I inferred it might just be the worst thing EVER. I may be guilty, but there are extinuating circumstances!!!!!! Sheesh-I'm Mom's guard dog for pete sake..I'm sure all my supporters will understand.

Protecting the hoomans and the homefront is a doggie's first duty! If they are so clueless as to put things in the way of our guarding, then it's THEIR fault!! Not anydoggy who is just doing their job!

Momma says that's why all our windows are opened only a little on the bottom and mostly on the top because she is sick and tired of seeing the screens knocked out. Hey, there's stuff out there that needs to be chased!

Sunny,'s a job, isn't it; protectin' the house!!! Scooter said to show up at 6 on the that 0600 or 1800? Just to clarify...of course I won't snackie on Scooter...what does he weigh anyway...just for info purposes...he might be one of the few doggies that I'm bigger that case, I bet I won't be "on guard"...and will be a pawfect lambie...baaa baaa!!!

So Sunny...are you a nurse too? If we have any sick doggies are ya willin' to come and take a shift or two? I'm only a student...Asta and Agatha are very strict instructors...uniforms at knee length and such. Let me know and I'll put ya in the registry.

Hope ur mom feels so much better soonest!!!

Hugs to Scooter and to you...healin' kissies to ur mom!

Hi Sunny and Scooter,
UT OH! Look like some dogs in trouble! Did you have fun at least with the blinds, Sunny? I think Scooter is too small to reach.
Glad Ike has rolled out of town and the sun is out for you to enjoy.
thanks for sniffing by my blog and saying hi!

Sunny, we don't see you destroying anything. It looks to us like you are guarding which is your dog-given duty! It would probably be best if you stayed on this side of the screens though. Things have really settled down around here the last couple of days. We are glad, now we have time to visit some more of our blogging buddies.

Hi S,S & J ... saw the comment on our blog. We don't know Mack but Mona does and she's had us check his blog each day. We don't know what is happening to him and his family but feel they are probably out of power and have more important things on their minds than blogging. At least, that's what we hope is going on. We just keep checking and telling Mona's mommy when Mom talks to her on the phone. If you hear anything, let us know either by comment or email (found in our profile).

Maybe its the hooman herself who did it when she was sleepwalking or something & couldn't remember after that when she woke up???? Have you ever thought of that?

hi Sunny, we do understand. when you are in charge of watching the outdoors, then you have to be able to look out the window. we have gone through a few window screens in our time - but it was for the good of our profession! we have to watch out at all times - for squirrels, cats, dogs, bugs, humans, or anything else that may look interesting. then we have to bark! we all have to bark! it's our jobs for pete's sake.

Blinds are bad for guard duty anyway. In my new house I made sure all the windows that I use for guard duty had curtains and no miniblinds. Mom hates miniblinds anyway so if my guard dog windows had had blinds, it wouldn't have taken much to get Mom to get Dad to take them down. Mom has such big issues with them, she can't even take them down herself! She's weird!

guarding the house is VERY important, so she cannot be TOO mad at you!
