Things are looking a little better here -- but we still have to see what happens to Ike over Cuba.
Those who suffer the most are the citizens of the poorest country in the Caribbean, the Haitians. They keep getting hit -- and have so little to begin with that they have nowhere to turn.
I've never been in a hurricane- heck, I have to be medicated for plain ol' rain storms. The Humans have weathered hurricanes, but they don't think I could handle it. I'd probably shake myself to death, dontcha' know? I hope that mean ol' Ike stays away from all of us.

That is a pretty sky! I'm getting tired of all the nasty storms, too. I wish storm season was over already! I hate when i see the weather maps with those storms coming up on the coasts. Kaos
