Help out this pup with no name, please

So here's the thing. Tomorrow this boy will be 4 mos old and he has been here 2 weeks now. Mom has names narrowed down, and she doesn't believe "little s**t" would be a great one.
She wants a name preferably with 2 syllables, she wants a name to fit him as an adult and not one that fits him as a clumsy little bear cub.(which he sometimes reminds us of)
Here are ones she has narrowed it down to(probably)
Tex or Big Tex
Ranger (as in Texas Ranger)
Toby
Wrangler
Seamus(pronounced shaymus-irish for James)
Wiley
Course there's names like Midnight-opp of Sunny... Mooney ...Mom likes Mike(y) ???????
He likes to hit and run...
Dunno why Sunny would be thinking of calling him Dumbo....

Crazy fast

ok hiya, gotta go now!

Bitey face begins

oops time to run
hit and run is how I roll

she isn't coming is she?

doesn't look like it

now I can go into attack mode again

This is the "playpen" where he stays when the "nice ladee, who sunny says is my new mom",cannot watch him close.
Also the only place where mom can get him kinda still for a pic!

HIYAHIYAHIYA

ooooooofff, smushed my nose! Not that coordinated so far

Look at this face....what IS he thinking??????

This could have lots of captions. Pretty good looking dude Mom thinks.

I am not sure, I have never had so much trouble with a name.(Part of the trouble may be I associate some names I might have used with some bloggy kids now. So they just don't work.)
So friends, what do you think?? Any you like? Any suggestions(beau sounds too much like no as I told Muzzer. Nice name tho) He can't be puppy forever so Mom has got to make her mind up.
Help us out. Though it may come to Mom in a thunderbolt. whooo knows. Please let us know what you think. Mom generally names her boys with human boy names, but...she just doesn't know.
Hugs,
Sunny
ps(I tried to put the phrases by the pics I thought they should go with. It sure doesn't work out that way in the preview. Also, how come so many of my sentences are ending with prepositions???Getting a D I would guess ;) Also part of my agonizing over a name is that he will be my official service dog. So, poopsie just wouldn't be fittin!

I think Doofus fits quite nicely, but if you don't like that, I vote for wrangler.

P.S. Tell your momma to pee-mail my momma at backupdogATcomcastDOTnet if she wants to setup a "date."

How about something like Jay-Jay (JJ) cute enough for a pup, is a male human name and can easily be shortened to Jay as he matures...

And great for all sort of terms or endearment to suit an personality trait - Jaybird, Jayson.

I am torn between Ranger or Wrangler. What a handsome guy. I like his game. Looks like fun.

We like names that end in a happy "y" or "ey" sound. So Mikey seems like a good choice. It's adaptable too. When you need to be stern, you can holler for Michael. Then, for fun, there's Mikaroni.

Jake and Just Harry

(aka Jakey, Jakester, Jakers and Harold, Haricot vert, and Hareeeee!!!)

Skeeter would be a cool name or maybe Sammy....We named our kitty, but we just call him kitty kitty, cuz that is what he comes too now.

My 2 favorite is Big Tex and Wrangler. He sure is a good looking boy once you can get him still.

We are thinking Walker would be a good name.

Well, you know which one has my vote. Woo.

PS: Mom says she owes your mom an email; she's been crazy busy!
PPS: Ammy suggested calling him "Cookie" so that every time your mom calls him, she'd have to give all of you a treat. Ha woo. She cracks me up.

When you used the name Little S***, Essex thought of a little dog she met her first year at Angel Paws. The dogs name was "Dam* It". What a dog name.
